Why do people get annoyed when you flick through the channels with the remote on the ad breaks, when this is the time you get to see what other intersesting and sometimes life changing event is happening on TV at that time?

I’ve viewed amazing, sad, shows and documentaries that have taught me about  new cultures, historical events and inventions,  that I would not have normally ever learnt or seen.

If only we looked at our lives like a telavision and used the remote control to flick through our lives and make us aware of what else is happening around us during the ad breaks.
